Set of three limited to 200 copies self-released 7” singles from ex-Harry Pussy guitarist Bill Orcutt. All Tongues and Tic Fit were released earlier in the year while A King Or Something is a tour-only 7” released to coincide with his recent Euro jaunt. The material on the singles expands on his obsession with compulsive repetition and the deconstruction and reformulation of cranky blues-inflected phrases. “Tic Fit” directly references Orcutt’s obsession with verbal and physical ticks while a track like “Crossroads” explores the possibilities of repetitive unaccompanied vocal contractions. A King or Something also features his wild deconstruction of Michael Jackson’s “Man In The Mirror”. Due to the insane demand for these we have to insist on only one set per customer and initially we are only making the singles available as a set. Highly recommended, obviously.
