Justice Yeldham & The Dynamic Ribbon Device
Live in Beirut
Dualplover CH-139
7"
£5.99
Wild accumulation of random flesh/machine noise, squawking head-fuck tourettes and harsh sonic attack that sounds like a Middle Eastern tour EP by the LAFMS orchestra courtesy of Australian performance artist Justice Yeldham, a guy who regularly chews on amplified plate glass. Edition of 550 copies in colour sleeves w/liners, part of Chondritic Sound's new 7” series: “It's safe to say that nothing like this was ever witnessed in the Lebanese capital before, short of the civil war, which is how many audience members described the sound of the honourable Justice's performances in the still turbulent city. Justice played on a sheet of broken glass he found at the Beirut - Damascus taxi terminal, an infamous place where many Muslims where tortured and killed by the Phalangists. The cover depicts the sticker that was on the sheet of glass played on 020604 which was found in the semi ruined building.”
