Fourth annual retort from this Chicago-based duo with connections to Son Of Earth-Flesh On Bone trio. A beautifully erased mixture of field-recordings and subtly plotted drone that takes you ‘there’ every time. For fans of FSA, Fursaxa, Richard Youngs & Simon Wickham-Smith et al.

£7.99
Latest release from the Number None-curated Rebis imprint features molten rivers of liquid steel beamed from the brains of Matt Clark and Jeremy Lemos. Clark was a member of Chicago rock groups Pinebender and Joan Of Arc, while Lemos is best known as a sound engineer for people like Jim O’Rourke and Sonic Youth. The sound here is guitar based but a couple of poles deeper into non-locatable soundspace, with long, laminal fuzz drones extended between locations as temporally dislocated as Playing With Fire/Recurring-era Spacemen 3, Faust circa Ravvivando and Sunn OO))).
