VOLCANIC TONGUE WILL HAVE A RECORD STALL ALL WEEKEND!

INSTAL is an experimental music festival for people interested in un-average musical ideas and experiences.

It’s a festival where music, art (visual, live or performance), language & thought meet and will include:

acoustic laptop music, circular singing, concrete poetry, FM radio transmitters built live and used as theremins, sound as political activism, a 100 piece untrained choir, a saxophone taken apart then played, a no-input mixing desk, long stretches of almost nothing, organ drones attempting to set the stars to music, the complete works for cello (all played at the same time), walkman solos, ash vibrated on speakers, the natural frequency of the Arches etc.

. What we’re saying is it’s hard as fuck
to believe that alla these cats are gonna be here in Glasgow and to
mark our constant state of near-amazement and give the rest of you a
taste we’re happy to be offering a special Instal ticket deal
especially for faithful Volcanic Tongue customers. That’s you,
bub. Alls you got to do is quote the “Volcanic Tongue ticket offer”
when you call The Arches’ box office - 0870 240 7528 – and
you’ll be immediately entitled to three tickets for the price
of two, whether you’re shooting for 3 day passes, 2 day passes
or just a bunch of single day tickets. VT are the creative advisers
for this year’s insane blow-out and what’s more we’re
gonna have a massive stall there too, with a lot of exclusive merch,
so make sure to bring along plenty of drool. Happy to say that Instal
2005 will also feature Elkka Reign Nyoukis’s noise-gig debut.
And long may she.
