Here Zak runs the voodoo down with a series of endless acoustic/fuzz raga jams, taking off from zoned Davy Graham/Sandy Bull-styled acoustic sorcery and pushing out into the kinda heavy-meta realms of Sound Of Confusion-era Spacemen 3 and even Double Heads styled Rallizes. Something in the way Zak blends folk forms with high energy improvisations and amp-humping sweat makes me think of Trans-Love Energies and if you’re able to join the dots from The Stooges/MC5  through John Fahey and John Coltrane then this is the kinda ecstatic string-think that has your name all over it. Cool paste-on wraparound sleeves with insert, on coloured wax – recommended!
